Peter Lalor

Pete is BlueRock's co-founder and CEO. He places great value on working towards a social purpose, using technology to scale, and creating a people-first culture across all the businesses and organisations he’s involved in.

Peter’s early career as a skilled tax accountant was never going to satisfy his entrepreneurial and tech-driven approach to business. Both before and since starting BlueRock in 2008, Pete has founded and chaired businesses in hospitality, tech and sustainable social housing.

His entrepreneurial advisory work has developed a strong client community and a unique company culture that follows his vision to work with smart people and 'break the rules'. He fuels all this activity with afternoon cereal.

On the weekends, Pete slows down a little when he’s fishing, getting involved with his local footy club and watching his beloved Carlton Blues. He loves spending time with his family of four boys.

Pete would love to meet Gandhi, who is known for his belief that, “in a gentle way, you can shake the world”. While Pete isn’t nearly as gentle, it’s safe to say the world is getting quite a shake.
